Want to be sustainable and cool? Choose fans more and air conditioning less. A university of Sydney study has found using indoor fans more often allows people to reduce their air conditioner use without changing how hot they feel, paving the way for reducing future energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.
While cleaning customers air ducts I notice humidifiers that have been neglected of maintenance. When this issue occurs, microbial growth may appear on both the filter pad and inside the humidifier compartment. This neglected condition can cause indoor air quality issues
especially for home occupants with mold allergies. It's important to change your humidifier's filter pad every heating season and also clean if necessary the plastic compartment.
An Executive Order by the governor of Michigan has made it now mandatory masks be used while indoors or in crowded outdoor public places.
Research shows that masks can greatly reduce the chance of spreading COVID-19, especially when approximately 40% of those who have COVID-19 may be asymptomatic.
